We are conveniently located between Terra Nova National Park and Gross Morne National Park just 20 km west of Grand Falls-Windsor. For those of you from the East Coast, we are 420 km from St. John’s. Why drive another 2.5 hours to get to the west coast when you can stay in the best quality rental chalets in Newfoundland with excellent snowmobiling?

Your gas savings alone will cover a night in the chalet. From Corner Brook you can take the trail to the Gaff Topsails, head East and get here by snowmobile almost as fast as you can drive here by vehicle! We are right on the Trans Canada Trail. You can’t miss us!

Directions to our Badger Chute Rafting Adventure

From the East:
Travel 20km west of Grand Falls-Windsor on the Trans Canada Highway (Route 1). The entrance to our Riverfront Chalets is on the left side immediately after Aspen Brook. There is a tall blue sign marking our driveway.

From the West:
Travel 10km east of Badger on the Trans Canada Highway (Route 1). The entrance to our Riverfront Chalets is on the right side just before Aspen Brook. There is a tall blue sign marking our driveway.

Please meet us at the Raft Shack 15-30min before your trip is scheduled to depart.

Important Points
▪ Please eat before the tour as it will be around 3:00 before we have our riverside lunch
▪ We supply drink for lunch but you may take along a drink of your own for during the trip if you wish
▪ Avoid cotton
▪ Bring a spare fleece or sweater to take on the trip (we have dry storage)
▪ Avoid strapless shoes/sandals
▪ There is no need to risk your camera on the trip as each guide has a waterproof digital camera that clients can use at anytime. Our guides take quality action shots as well. We burn the pictures to DVD after each trip with an average of 200 - 500 pictures. The DVD's are available for just $20 including tax immediately after the trip.

Directions to our Canyon Run Rafting Adventure

Make sure your dressed in clothing that you will be comfortable being wet in; any sort of quick drying material is best. Make sure you are wearing footwear that will stay on your feet; very important to avoid strapless sandals or flip-flops. This is an extremely exciting rafting experience, so it is important that everyone is comfortable being in the water.

Please be there 10 minutes before your schedule departure time and park in the UPPER parking lot at Salmon Interpretation Center in Grand Falls-Windsor. The Salmon Interpretation Center is located across the river from the old Grand Falls-Windsor paper mill.

If you’re traveling from the East, take Exit 20 and turn left on to Scott Avenue. Follow Scott Ave for 4.4km and turn left when you reach the old Grand Falls-Windsor paper mill (there will be a sign on the left pointing the way to the Salmon Center). Cross the Mill bridge and stay right until you reach the entrance of the Salmon Center which will be on the right

If you’re traveling from the West, take the Lincoln Road/Main Street exit and turn left on to Lincoln Road. The road veers left and turns into Church Road, follow Church Rd until you reach the roundabout on High St. Take the second right in the roundabout which is Mill Rd. At the end of Mill Rd, turn left on to Scott St and take the first right (there will be a sign on the right pointing the way to the Salmon Center). Cross the Mill bridge and stay right until you reach the entrance of the Salmon Center which will be on the right

When you reach the Salmon Center please make sure you park in the upper parking lot away from the buildings. Our big red bus will drive you to the put in location.
