Group Rates

Our Badger Chute Rafting Adventure is perfect for groups of all size. Over the years we have hosted businesses, government, youth groups, Cadets, Scout/Guide groups, student groups, and we even hosted the 2011 Venturer Scout Jamboree for over 60 youth!

Depending on your group and your desired date we have a variety of options available for you. As a general rule, we can offer groups of 16 or more people a 10% discount off our regular price providing they are paying together on one invoice. For youth groups and non-profit groups, we can offer rates more than 50% off!

Corporate/Business Groups

Rafting Newfoundland provides the ultimate team building experience for corporate and business groups. The very nature of rafting requires team work and communication skills. After spending the time of their life on the Exploits River, your team will be ready to take on any challenge!

Our best corporate/business group rates are:

• $59pp (45% savings) -> 60+ participants
• $69pp (36% savings) -> 24+ participants
• $79pp (27% savings) -> 16+ participants
• $89pp (18% savings) -> 8+ participants

These rates are valid Sun-Fri from May 1 - June 21, and from Sept 4 - Oct 31 and do not include lunch. All participants must be paid on one bill by cash, debit, credit card, cheque or purchase order (we cannot accept individual payments).

For peak season dates, we will still extend a 10% discount to all corporate/business groups of 16+ people ($98.10/pp)

Non-Profit/Youth Groups

Rafting Newfoundland is a favourite for youth groups and other non-profit organizations. We frequently host Cadets, Scouts, Guides, and other youth groups. Last July we hosted the Venturer Scout Jamboree, which involved over sixty youth for a rafting adventure and a night camping.

For Scouting groups, our guides can often assist the youth in completing badge requirements for watercraft skills!

All of our rafting guides are internationally certified and our equipment is the best possible quality. After 15 years rafting on the Exploits River we have a flawless safety rating. Our rafting adventure is suitable for all school-aged youth, regardless of swimming ability.

Our best non-profit/youth group rates are:

• $49pp (65% savings) -> 60+ participants
• $59pp (45% savings) -> 24+ participants
• $69pp (36% savings) -> 16+ participants
• $79pp (27% savings) -> 8+ participants

We have hosted several school groups in the past on our white water rafting adventure; most recently the physical education class at Heritage Collegiate (Lethbridge, NL) last fall.

Our rafting adventure is suitable for all school-aged youth, regardless of swimming ability.

Rent-A-Raft Promotion

Looking for a truly personalized rafting experience? Rafting Newfoundland is now offering a "Rent-A-Raft" promotion where you can actually book a whole raft for you and your friends!

When you rent your raft you pay one price regardless of home many people attend, so if you fill your raft everyone will enjoy great savings!

On Sun-Fri from May 1 - June 21, and from Sept 4 - Oct 31 you can rent your own raft for just $599 (lunch is not included). If you fill your raft with eight people, that works out to only $75 each!

On select dates you will be able to choose your own departure time, decide how long you want to spend on the river, and even select which guide you want! Love riding the Badger Chute? Why not run it twice... or even three times! Ever wondered what an evening trip would be like? Imagine floating into the chalets with only the moonlight to guide the raft... When you rent a raft, the trip is yours and anything is possible!

Custom Adventures

At Rafting Newfoundland we can provide you with a customized adventure to suit your group's exact needs.

In addition to our Badger Chute rafting adventure, we can also offer your group a sunset tour down the Exploits River, guided or self-guided canoe and kayak tours, and even hiking or mountain biking tours through the countless trails that intersect at our Riverfront Chalets.

Ever been to the summit of Hodges Hill? From the top you can see hundreds of kilometers in all directions and truly feel on top of the world. The hike to the summit is beautiful every step of the way.
